Almost one month kabonfootprint contes running. Until now, It’s seems that this SEO Contest isn’t hot as in Busby SEO Challenge. Maybe there’s many SEO Addict and webmaster are still playing in the old playground name Busby. I don’t know, we just can see it after Busby SEO Worldcup end.

Me and my friend, until now, still not make any decission which blog we will register as Kabonfootprint participant in UKWW Forum.Until now, we still optimizing it all and freeze some of the rest.

I looks some kabonfootprint participant already running fast in this first month. I hope they all can reaches what they’ve planned.

This theme name KabonFootprint 63. KabonFootprint in the name, represent the existence of the designer, that now following SEO Contest 2008 v2. Word ‘63′ represent that the designer live in Indonesia which today celebrate 63th Years Independence Day. You can read details about this theme in Busby SEO Challenge blog.

I don’t really know which is better, using free blog in dagdigdug.com or blogdetik.com. But, after I’m using both of this, now I have temporary conclusion that blogdetik.com is much better in search engine visibility. At least in Google.Com.

Both of blog I use for targetting keyword Kabonfootprint in google.com. While my blogdetik’s blog sitting in page 2 google.com, this dagdigdug’s blog only viewed in page 5.

Any of you disagree with my conclusion ? please give me your prove and logical reason !.

This morning, I’m doing my routine activity. Checking all of my blog one by one. That’s includes checking my SEO Contest blog. I’m just surprised when several of my contest blog show that there’s some comment in moderation, but when I open it all, all comment is identic. In all of my contest blog, pinayspeak.com spamming me with nofollow link using anchor Busby SEO Challenge. I hate this, and because of that, I remove it all by marking it as spam. I hope akismet filter remember this and pinayspeak never bothering me again.

I know that I’m not SEO Master but I still have ethic code. I’m never try to do spam commenting to others participant blog.  I think, all of you who learns SEO to keeping hard this principles.

Kaboners, if you have new blog and you want that your blog get lots of traffic, so you need to do this:

• Because content is a king and our Kabonfootprint Webmaster believe that, so you must write your own content. It’s better to write useless content (but it’s original) than copy-paste article from other source
• Because link is a queen (and we believe that too), so you must start blogwalking to other blog that has lot of traffic and start commenting there. If you get the author admin and your content is relevant, try to email the blog’s author and asking for Link exchange. Otherwhile, if you have some amount, maybe you can start to buy one way link from marketplace such as TNX.net, Backlinks.com, matched.co.uk, etc
• Link baiting to others blog. Beside this way get nofollow backlink for your blog, in other side, this usually brings you some traffic from that blog readers.

I think that 3 tips above is enough for making good start. I will write other tips to gets lots of traffic 3 days later.
